Child & Adolescent Support Team

The Child and Adolescent Support Team of the Los Angles Gender Center specializes in issues of diverse gender expression for children, adolescents, young adults and their families.

The team is comprised of licensed therapists who provide a full range of support services including:

• evaluation
• resource referral
• individual, group and family therapy
• education and clinical consultation for parents and community organizations.
  
  

The Child and Adolescent Support Team works with the child, adolescent or young adult individually and in the context of the family and community by promoting acceptance, diminishing stigmatization and developing new constructs that make way for healthy emotional development.

The team also provides services specific to gender identity, sexual orientation and children of transgender parents.
